Alright, Kelin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
Well it’s a complexed answer. The meaningful project I’ve ever worked on is Myself! Being a leader is a position in life that is very delicate and tons of responsibilities. I had to reevaluate the way I seen myself. People started to put their careers in my hands, which at times became intimidating. It made my feel unequipped but at the same time I started to understand if the people see greatest in you it must be IN YOU! So as I started to mentor and manage different artists and musicians it started to hit me that I was changing for the better and the things that people seen in me has started to manifest itself!
Kelin, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’ve been working in the music industry for 15years+! I have helped different artists cultivate their sound by producing, writing, arranging or even just being their manager and creating a vibe that they couldn’t or needed help creating. I’ve also helped different entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses ie Exotic Pop, French Fry House, HazenHouse Productions, The Zen Factory there’s more but I think you get the point.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is to be someone that helps put people and position to Great People and Business Owners. Sometimes it’s hard to get started when it comes to the ideas in your head. Having someone who helps things make sense to us is true goal in the world of business.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Using the networks that I gained at different events has really helped me lately. I was the type of person who only trusted myself, until I seen that mindset had me behind on my goals.
