Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kel Brown. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Kel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
When I moved to Austin, TX during the summer of 2011. I slowly found myself getting more and more into the graf and street art scene at that time and it all became history from there.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a self-taught artist that initially wanted to go the traditional studio/university route–and was all registered with the University of Houston to do their studio art program at one point–but eventually came to my senses, moved to Austin and immersed myself into the art and street art culture here. I haven’t looked back since and that was around 2011.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The integrity and vision involved with being a so-called creative. The freedom and the ability to do whatever you want–both within the confines of those terms but especially outside of them.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
