Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to KeithKNOWS …… We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
KeithKNOWS, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share an important lesson you learned in a prior job that’s helped you in your career afterwards?
In my previous job as the Volunteer Coordinator for NBAF(National Black Arts), I had to be very organized, recruiting and training volunteers was definitely a value lesson. Yearly, I had to recruit over 100 volunteers and train them for their positions. I also had to follow up, send reminders, and find a space to hold Volunteer Orientations. I learned a value lesson about always a backup plans, you never know what’s happening in someone’s life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
KeithKNOWS.net, where tastemakers, businesses, luminaries, visionaries, and trendsetters connect!
My social journey began with hosting various events the 2nd Sunday of each month throughout Atlanta from inviting guests to see Ailey at the Fox Theatre, dine at a brand new restaurant, view an art exhibit, exploring various neighborhoods, lounge at a coffee bar and much more.
The social journey expanded due to an increase of interests, so I created a website to engage with my Cultural Warriors to keep them informed about all that Atlanta has to offer.

Have you ever had to pivot?
During the height of the pandemic, I realized that my company KeithKNOWS.net, which focuses on entertainment and events in Atlanta, I had to think of another way of still connecting and engaging with my audience, and sharing valuable information, so I turned my attention to supporting small black businesses online. Weekly I would share with my audience via social media, a small black business.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I was able to build my audience on social media due to website which is membership based, so alot of those members joined me on social media. Also, from being an Atlanta Ailey Ambassador Coordinator & Volunteer Coordinator, I’m able to build relationships thus gaining trust. I also attend a variety of events in the city supporting artists and creative who in turn assist me with my social media presence.
