We were lucky to catch up with Keith Moy recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Keith, thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

My risk taking started in 1998 when I decided to move from the town I grew up in (Monroe, LA) to Longview, TX. This would turn out to be one of many failed attempts to save my first marriage. While we changed the town we lived in, that did not fix our issues, which led my ex-wife moving to Denver, CO.

After visiting for Christmas in Dec of 1999, my ex wife and I decided to reconcile. This reconciliation only lasted for 2 years and turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I ended up meeting my current wife of 21 years. Shortly after getting married to my current wife in 2003, I began my journey as a Christian minister for different churches while continuing to navigate vocational changes as well. From 2004 to 2016, I held the following jobs: minister, property manager, security guard, customer service rep, quality assurance analyst, bodily injury claims adjuster, IT trainer, IT analyst.

This journey allowed me to gain experiences that have helped me to understand myself and my purpose in ways I otherwise would not have been able to. I am now in the heart of my purpose (Therapist, card reader, astrologist, numerologist, music artist and music producer) and I am able to navigate my way through the various twists and turns that the adventure of life and purpose lead us through. My secret has been I that I just keep betting on myself, trusting my intuition, maintaining a faith and knowing that everything is going to work out for me in the end, and making the choice everyday to, “just keep swimming”.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

My spirituality. I reconstructed Christianity for myself which led me to knowledge of self. Knowledge of self then led me to understanding myself through astrology, numerology, tarot, and most importantly, my intuition. These spiritual disciplines along with other practices I’ve incorporated help to shape my spirituality, which at the end of the day for me is all about unconditional love.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The most effective strategy I have for growing my clientele is authenticity. I do my best to show up everyday as genuine and vulnerable as possible. As such, those who are meant to receive from me always find me.
