We were lucky to catch up with Keith Graham recently and have shared our conversation below.
Keith, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
I grew up in a single family household so it was just me, my mom, and my sisters growing up. My dad didn’t have an impact on my life but I always had positive male role models around. My mom taught me life lessons at such an early age that made sense more as an adult than it did as a kid. The biggest thing I think my mom did right was to teach me to have faith but not just faith but unwavering faith. So now every new project or venture, or even career change I always have faith it will work out and that’s a powerful tool especially if you feel like you weren’t qualified or good enough to do something. Imposter syndrome is real.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Keith Graham. I’m 33 years old and I am a Texas native. I’m currently the Marketing Director for a Tech Company and I also have my own business doing freelance marketing for the restaurant and hospitality industry. My main focus in freelancing is always to build awareness and share my experience in a way that resonates with a perspective customer. I’ve built my brand from the ground up, boots on the ground connecting with people organically and that same approach is taken with any business that I do. I’m a connector of people first and everything else just falls into place.
Something that makes me the most proud is that I am looked at as an food expert amongst my peers and I think that’s awesome.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is always to do great work and be a connector of people.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being creative?
The most rewarding part is the process. All the ups and downs it takes sometimes to get to the end goal is beautiful. Trust your process.
