We were lucky to catch up with Keisha Tucker recently and have shared our conversation below.
Keisha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I think I always had natural talents and tendencies for acting and performing. But I definitely would hone my skills in acting classes, dance classes, driving classes, improve classes, and diving classes. Any kind of class that I felt would be both fun and beneficial to my life in film and tv. You’re always learning and you have to be ok with that. The only obstacle that might stand in the way from anyone learning more would be the lack of finances. But then it’s up to you to learn another way, as much you can.

Keisha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am an actor/Stunt performer born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in the suburbs. I am mostly known for Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. I am always training and working on honing my skills. With my determination and passion for performing, there will be much more to come.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I think I can do a better job building an audience on social media. But at first it started with me making as many funny videos as i could, with friends, and posting them on social media. There has to be no pressure of it being funny. You can put everyday life stuff on camera and it’ll end up being funny as it relates to people. And then I moved to just posting my accomplishments.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, The most rewarding aspect of being a creative artist is seeing reactions from your audience. Whatever those reactions might be. It can be rewarding to get a clap, a laugh, a cry. Whatever it might be, I was successful in making someone feel something.
