Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Keisha Rose. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, Keisha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I first knew that I was meant to be in entertainment when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I knew that I loved to entertain, and be creative.

Keisha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

We are G-Rose Productions. We are Screenwriters, Producers, and Directors. We have original content written scripts. We currently have four unscripted shows on Indetv. Our latest unscripted show called “Live From the Cave” is doing very well. It’s a talk show with four professional guys having a conversation about anything from sports, politics, daily news and our most popular topic relationships and marriage. We have one rotated guests with the fellas every week. Our guests have included: Ben Stephens (BET Family Business) Pat Neely (cook and tv host) Josh Powell (Former Lakers Player) and the post goes on. We are starting our 3rd season on September 1st and we are looking for a major network for this show. The show’s is Executive Produced by a female Keisha Rose.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

We have the love of story telling and helping others through tv and film. People turn to TV or film to get away from their problems, so a lot of times they are actually setting themselves, and hopefully, whatever message that is meant for them they will receive through a character or film itself.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Oh yes! I wished I was taught fund raising for film or how to get sponsors early on. This is the main important thing to make sure that your film gets out. Filmmakers are constantly looking for capital to bring a film or show to life.
