We were lucky to catch up with Keenan Green recently and have shared our conversation below.
Keenan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I Think it takes consistent hard work & dedication, the staying up late at night until the early morning , out working the man next to you , studying , practice, discipline , trial & error, having a short memory when bad things happen & most importantly keeping the faith and believing and God .
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Hey I’m Keenan Green 25 years old from Charleston, South Carolina . I picked up a camera for the first time in 2017 & the rest is history. I was mainly into shooting videos up until about 2019 when i decided to take pictures more seriously, i started this journey in my best friends Mel (rip) Aunt dera’s garage setting up my backdrop and taking pictures of various people during the time. As time went on my name grew more & more to what it is now and i’m forever thankful to everyone who ever referred someone to me , like or share my post or just showed love in general it means the world to me . Im most proud of my growth as a shooter in general when i look back on my work from a few years ago , even last year , i can see tremendous growth in my work & it’s lovely to see . I want my potential clients to know that I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure i can make your vision come to life . I pride myself with Delivering great work every-time & I’ll always stand by that.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I eventually want to open up multiple studio’s for creators all around the world . Everyone from photographers to producers & even actors will be involved in the movement.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish i knew earlier how much of a help YouTube can be if you just start looking and searching for hidden gems it can help you go a long way without asking anyone for help.
