Keemon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made?
My best investment I made as a business owner was starting up VoguishBreed. I wanted to go down a bigger route instead of the go to college and then work until retirement route. That’s when I put most of my college money and pizza delivering checks towards my brand startup. Taking this chance is playing out well right in front of my eyes. I enjoy building VoguishBreed up day by day.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a 21 year old clothing brand owner from Beaumont, Texas. I got into the clothing brand industry after realizing putting on fits brings me joy. After a couple of failed trails as trying to be a brand ambassador for other brands I decided to create my own. I always been an arts & craft type of person and starting a clothing brand gave me another way to exercise those skills. I pair my arts & crafts skills with my rational skills to give my clients the best experience when they come across VoguishBreed from the shipping, quality, energy, and many more aspects.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One lesson I had to unlearn is playing everything safe. Playing everything safe can cripple you. If you don’t take risks you’ll be in the same position forever hoping for better.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media by consistent posting & going outside. My advice to those who are building a social media presence is be consistent, catch the eye, and every view count.
