We recently connected with Keeling Damion and have shared our conversation below.

Keeling, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?

I interact with all my followers. I like to engage with them it helps me stay grounded and be humble because I know from an outside perspective it can look like I’m cocky lol

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I like to emphasize that I’m not just a rapper but I’m also a songwriter. I’ve written pop songs and R&B songs for various artist such as Sugar Joiko, Brian Angel from Day 26, etc. which helps expand my business as a rap artist/songwriter that’s versatile.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

My favorite marketing story is when I pitched a song to Star Wide Receiver for the Minnesota Vikings Justin Jefferson. I wrote the song during his last college season knowing he was going to shake up and take over the NFL. It was his rookie year I sent the song to his older Brother Jordan Jefferson who was a Star QB for LSU and also manages for Justin. Soon after I received a phone call from Jordan Jefferson stating how much Justin Jefferson liked the song and wanted to utilize it for one of his highlights. Ever since I’ve been receiving crazy love and support from Minnesota Viking fans!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Quality over Quantity! All my work from music videos, photos, songs are very professional and well tailored. That’s what you’re going to get out of me at all times, professional work on and off the camera.
