Keelan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?

Success is defined by YOU. Success looks different for so many people. Uncomfortably leads to growth and success often comes from the growth and changes that you learn from the journey. Success goes to those who hustle. All the time, every time. For me success is happiness! Success is being able to take time off to recharge and refresh from the busy work schedule, Success is being able to spend time with family and friends. Success is showing up every day while pushing fear and doubt behind and taking any action, messy action, scary action, doubtful action, scrappy action, fearful action. Just anything to get closer to my dreams. Thats what success looks for me at this moment in my life.

Keelan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Located in Florence , Alabama I am a newborn and wedding portrait photographer that provides fun fresh and timeless imagery.

I’m most proud of the people I get to serve, and my team that I get to work with. We work so hard to make every client that walks in the door feel like a family and a friend. Customer service is what we work so hard to to be the best at.

I want every client to leave and feel loved, cared for and to have timeless and tangible print products to hang on their wall.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Over the years I’ve had to learn to adapt and and change as social media changes. The key to social media is the be social and constant. I’d find people that fit the criteria of a potential client and I’d just start engaging with them on social media. This then leads to them becoming a follower. Over time it builds trust and they then convert to a paid customer. We love to share behind the scenes from sessions. Our Followers love to see a behind the scene look into our day. We try to use multiple social platforms to reach our clientele from multiple platforms. As great as social media is for so many reasons it’s important to remember that we don’t own the platform and it could disappear.. It’s super important to market using other methods other than social media. I recommend building you a email list. It’s the best way to keep the followers you have updated with all that’s coming.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Everyone has strong points and weak points. It’s good to find out what those strong points are and find ways to use them. My team consist of three other people. They are all good at different things. One does office work scheduling and social media, one does editing retouching and ordering and one helps me out during the sessions. We have a pretty fun work envioromment. If you have a team just take good care of them and the’ll take care of you. They are like family to me!
