We were lucky to catch up with Kedisha Barnes recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kedisha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
My name is Kedisha. I’m a Blasian Model, Brand Ambassador, and Self-Taught Makeup Artist. I love working in the Beauty and Fashion Industry as it’s a work of art just like any Pablo Picasso painting/mural. Ever since I signed the contract with my agency a month ago, Eclipse Talent Agency. I been working extremely hard on many makeup and modeling projects via my social media platforms. I been getting a few gigs and helpful advice from my “manager”, Chief Operating Officer (COO), that’s driving me to work the hardest I ever have and make most of every 24-hour day possible. I been a Self-Taught Makeup Artist for going on 9 years; my strong suit is alternative punk makeup looks and regarding modeling I not only have the body, look, and personality, but I always felt like it was my second interest as I loved Beauty Pageants, Charlie’s Angels, and Victoria Secret Angels growing up as a kid. The beauty industry covers my love for makeup artistry and the fashion industry covers my love for modeling.
So, regarding meaningful projects… I full heartedly believe any project, small and big are meaningful. Hard work always pays off in the end, even if you may not see it now. Small things can become big things. You just need to have faith, work hard, pray and everything will work out, fall into place. Some days may not be easy, as we’re human and we’re emotional creatures and we let that get the best of us sometimes. But we just pick back up and move forward from where we left off. I was raised to never give up, failure is not the answer!
Kedisha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

So I provide in depth makeup tutorial looks from scratch to my patrons/subscribers on Patreon. I’m a brand ambassador, so I model the Clothing, Jewelry, and Shoes of the companies I’m partnered/collaborating with on my Patreon so you can see different outfits, styles and takes. I provide excellent discounts on my Patreon and Instagram on Bazzarte Women’s Clothing/Products, Priseria Women’s Clothing/Products, Dalmory Jewelry, and Nylialand Women’s Clothing and Boots. I model lingerie, bikini content and I do cosplay content as well.
I’m proud on how far I come in my makeup artistry. If I’m allowed to take my time with my makeup, then I’ll take my time to blend etc. and that will take me 30 to 35 minutes. If I’m in a rush I can do my makeup in 15 minutes, 20 minutes tops and it still looks amazing as if I spent 30 minutes on it.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Having an audience on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or any other social media platform is not always the easiest, because you have to keep your followers, fans, subscribers engaged at all times for the most part with your content. I’m doing extremely well on Instagram. I’m most popular there, but I’m steadily growing my other platforms, TikTok, YouTube, Patreon.
When it comes to influencing your audience or others to follow you, selling yourself and networking is where you need to be. Even in real life, society, work, school, etc. I network to have people follow my works
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes. I’m striving to work hard in the Beauty and Fashion Industry as a Model and Makeup Artist. so, I can make excellent money, revenue to quit my day job and make makeup artistry/modeling my full time job.
