We were lucky to catch up with Keara Noy recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Keara thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Event Planning hasn’t always been a passion of mine, but after indulging in it for the last 8 years, I have grown to love this amazing adventure!
After planning many weddings, including my own, I remembered how tired I was mentally, even though this is my profession. I figured if I can do this I’m sure many other brides have taken on the responsibility of planning their own.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
We often venture into new endeavors because we are coaxed into doing so by friends and family. They tell us “they think we are good at” such and such and there I was planning all the events for my family.. lol I’m guilty of that, too. If event planning is not where your heart is, it won’t make you happy, You could be using your time and energy on what you enjoy. It won’t matter the niche you choose, your heart will always show through
your work. A strong mind and determination is key in this industry.
I now have been a full time planner for about 8 months now!! (Glory to God)
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
In this new era people aren’t afraid if saying what they think. Keeping a High level of customer service and products that are readily accessible has been key in helping me gain new clientele. The referrals have been pivotal in maintaining our growth of new customers.
