We recently connected with Keanah Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.
Keanah, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
For the past decade, I have prioritized taking at least one vacation each year. Time off is essential for maintaining overall well-being. As a business owner, it’s natural to feel apprehensive about stepping away from work, fearing the potential loss of income or momentum. However, taking regular breaks are important for mental clarity and recharging your energy. Disconnecting from your business not only promotes personal rejuvenation but also enhances your ability to approach challenges with a fresh perspective.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I began content creation in 2020 during the pandemic, a time that inspired many around me to launch their own businesses. I quickly discovered my talent for promoting these ventures and helping them succeed. Some of my proudest achievements include meeting incredible people through my work, connecting them with others who can help elevate their businesses, and bridging my business network with my nonprofit initiatives. These efforts have allowed me to make a meaningful impact on my community and beyond. Watching businesses grow truly warms my heart.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience by posting on my personal social media page, with help of my friends, networking events, having my own events and following local small businesses.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been maintaining transparency. I’ve found that being authentic and genuine, while still upholding professionalism, creates a sense of comfort and trust that resonates with people.
