We were lucky to catch up with Ka’zion Wilson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ka’zion thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I first knew that I wanted to pursue my acting career when I was on my 2nd project. I got to meet Oprah. That’s when I knew I wanted to really do this. It made me like acting because it showed me that I can be anyone that I wanna be. I can do what I like to do and get paid for it it’s exhilarating. It’s so amazing that I can just have fun while working. Personally I think it’s a very fun job that you can get to do what you love and you could just be so many characters and you just become them It’s just amazing.
Ka’zion , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Ka’zion Wilson I’m 13 turning 14 in December I was born in Wilkes-barre Pennsylvania. I moved to Georgia when I was 2 going on 3. I started acting March 2022 when I was approached by a casting director while out one day, they told me that I have “the look”, then from there I have done many projects. I have worked with a lot of cool people like, Snoop Dogg, George Lopez and Oprah just to name a few. What sets me apart from others is that I just started and I’m not gonna stop and I continue to get better at what I do, it’s always late nights and early morning, but still I love what I do. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come as an actor, I want people to know that you’re going to see my face everywhere you go no matter what country you’re in ,what state you’re in, you gonna see me. no matter how long it takes I’m going to get to the top.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is that my mom is proud of me and she gets to be there with me when I get big. My mom gets to be by my side from the beginning to the end.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
Me personally I think NFTs are cool but I think it doesn’t make sense to buy one for over 100 dollars because why buy it when someone else can take it by simply screenshotting
