Hi Kayleigh, thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I believe that true success comes from walking closely with Jesus Christ and surrendering every aspect of your life-including your business- to Him. When you trust Him with your plans and seek His guidance, He opens doors, provides wisdom, and blesses your efforts in ways beyond what you could achieve on your own. Success isn’t just about financial gain or status; it is about fulfilling your God-given purpose and making an impact in alignment with His will.

Additionally, the people you surround yourself with play a significant role. Having a strong support system-whether it is mentors, family, or friends- provides encouragement, accountability, and wisdom. The right people challenge you to grow, help you stay grounded in your faith, and uplift you during difficult times.

Success is not about individual effort.

Hi, I’m Kayleigh! To simply put it – I love capturing people in the beautiful moments of life.

Photography has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. After graduation, I went head first into honing my skills and had great mentors that pushed me to get to where I am now. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of specializing in weddings and senior portraits. There is something truly special about freezing those memories-whether it is the joy of a wedding day or the excitement of a senior preparing for their next chapter.
Beyond photography, I am a wife to my high school sweetheart who is also my assistant on wedding days. I am also a proud mama to three precious children that I homeschool. As a wife and mother, I understand the importance of preserving life’s precious moments. This personal insight drives me to create images that families will cherish for generations, capturing the love and joy that define your most significant occasions.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for growing has been a combination of things. Word of mouth referrals, consistently going above and beyond for my clients, and my senior rep program.
Word of mouth will always be invaluable- when clients have an amazing experience, they naturally share it with others whether it be on social media or in person. I also make it a priority to provide a personalized, high quality experience, from the initial consultation to the final gallery. Lastly, my senior rep program has been a game changer for reaching more high school seniors. By working with a select group of enthusiastic seniors who love my work and share their experience, I’ve been able to connect with even more families and build lasting relationships.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

Absolutely! My photography journey started as a teenager with my sisters as my guinea pigs for any ideas I had. After getting married and moving to a military town, I pushed myself to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people. That’s when I met one of the most influential people-she introduced me into the wedding industry. She mentored me in both the creative and business sides of photography. She constantly encouraged me to aim higher and refine my skills. Thank you Amanda!

After four years, we moved back home to Georgia and photography took a backseat as I navigated life as a stay at home mom to our three babies. But even in those busy years, my passion never faded. I used that time to sharpen my skills, invest in education, and fine-tune my artistic vision.

Then came a turning point – my husband, who had been a truck driver, came off the road and encouraged me to chase my dreams wholeheartedly. With his unwavering support, I took the leap into full time photography, turning my passion into a thriving business. Now, not only do I get to do what I love every day, but I’ve also trained him to be my assistant on wedding days! Watching my business grow from a creative outlet to a full time career has been an incredible journey, and I couldn’t be more grateful for every step along the way!
