Alright, Kaylei thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I think that to become successful you need to have passion for what you do. I feel as if the more passionate you are about anything you do in life the easier it is to achieve. Success is also based on your own feelings. Success to me is a feeling of accomplishment or satisfaction within myself. I don’t think anyone else can tell you when or how you’re successful you have to feel that way about yourself. I think that in order to become success you have to fail, you have to relearn yourself, then better yourself in order to work towards your goals. Anything that’s holding you back in life should be cut off, the easiest way to not become successful is distraction. Not just distraction from other people, but from yourself, things you know won’t better, or help you to accomplish your goals. With that being said I think that you have to have a lot of self sacrifices that’ll be worth it in the end. If you can take the steps and really achieve them no matter the length or level of accomplishment you accomplished it and feel proud of yourself is success.

My name is Kaylei Hall, Ingenious women, age 22 , Entrepreneur & Designer.
I am the owner of LA Kulture Klothing Inc. LA Kulture Klothing started in 2022 but didn’t gain popularity until 2024, inspired by my siblings & our different styles. LA Kulture Klothing is an urban street wear brand that represents LA Culture. LA has a mixed diversity culture, with different backgrounds & ethnicities LA’s culture isn’t just one or two things it’s a mixture of all the different cultures & types together, and that’s what LA Kulture Klothing is about.
Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?
As of 2025 all my products have been manufactured by a vendor. We work together to find and create different styles & make my ideas come to life. I started of with a vendor company in China, I liked the product and the quality was great, but the service times was longer than excepted. Realizing I needed to get the products faster in order to ship them out in a reasonable time to my customers, I started searching for vendors in the US that could deliver the same services as the Chinese vendors. Not having to search to hard because just from posting my products I had already made on social media like TikTok, Instagram & Facebook the manufacturer’s starter to come to me. I looked through their catalog, and sorted my business proposal, picked my top 3 favorites , then I asked for a sample from each. All 3 samples were of the same product that’s how I chose my manufacturer/vendor.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The BEST source of new customers for me is definitely TikTok shop. TikTok shop lets you upload your products in the marketplace, go live with the products, and also pay commission to influencers who purchase, wear, & bring more insights to the LAKultureKlothing website & even just the products in general. TikTok’s fyp (For You Page) is tailored to bringing in audiences that fit under your personal style & branding. The different hashtags under certain videos that go viral or end up all over the for you page can bring you to one or more of my products.
