We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful KAYLA ZAMOT. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with KAYLA below.
KAYLA, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success is something that I feel would be defined differently by any person you asked. For me; determination, consistency, hard work, dedication are all things I’d say you need to be successful. Photography is a very competitive industry and if I would’ve given up during the first few years when I wasn’t booking any shoots or when I was comparing myself to all these incredible successful photographers in my area; I would’ve never gotten to where I am now. I’m not at the level of success I wanna be, but to be honest that’s constantly changing as are my goals because GROWTH!

KAYLA, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Well Hi there! Im Kayla, the small business owner behind Kayla Enid Photography LLC! I picked up my first camera around the age of 16 and instantly fell in love with it. I started with landscape photography and quickly switched to capturing the emotions behind people’s love stories! I currently label myself as a Georgia based wedding and elopement photographer, but I also do lifestyle sessions like families, seniors etc. During sessions I use a lot of prompts to capture authentic candid photos rather than superposed “smile at the camera” type photography! Storytelling is my goal! I want our session to be a fun date night where I get to third wheel and tell your love story through pictures.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Honestly this is a hard question because there’s just so many things I love about my job and find rewarding but; my top three would probably be the relationships/friendships I build with my clients, providing frozen memories of the most important moments in my client’s lives, and last would be getting to share my art and creativity with people who also love and cherish it. All are so rewarding I can’t choose one!!!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I would say me never giving up is a story in itself that shows my resilience! I started photography around 2017 and for years wasn’t booking anything consistently / was having trouble narrowing down my specific style! I would do free / low priced shoots for family and friends for years and was stagnant. Regardless I never gave up and I’m close to being able to make this full time now! This is my advice to you – even if you want to quit or are doubtful you’ll ever achieve your goals. You will and it’s so worth going through the lows to achieve your dreams and do what your passionate about!
