Kayla, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission is to help people get connected with their spirituality by providing them with various tools to assist them on their journey. For many years I struggled with my mental health, and In addition to seeking therapy, I started to explore spiritual and holistic methods and tools to cope with my anxiety and depression. In time, I started to see improvement in my overall well-being because I got connected to my higher self and being. Spiritual tools and practices were so instrumental in my healing that I created Divine Soul Crystals to provide various tools to assist others on their healing journey so they can connect with their higher self and being(s).

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Kayla Williams and I am originally from the Midwest. I have roots in the Caribbean and I am very proud of my culture. I served in U.S Air Force and it allowed me to travel, develop various skill sets, and get connected to many people from different backgrounds. In addition of learning skills sets, I have always been interested in learning about different cultures, people, religions, & many more. In the last few years, I learned more about spirituality and the various ways that people have gotten connected to their spirituality. In learning more about myself, I felt that my purpose on this Earth is to help people heal and be the best version of themselves. On of the many ways to do that is to get in tune with your spirituality. My business provides various tools to help people stay connected to their spirituality. Whether its crystals, books, sage, incense, tarot/oracle cards, etc, my store provides various items to help individuals heal and get in tuned with their Divine Soul.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Although I am a fairly new business and I am still growing, I feel that what has helped me build my reputation by doing various events within my city and meeting the customers. By doing this I was also able to network with other business owners and build a referral network, so we can refer customers in case they needed a service or item that I may or may not provide and vice versa. This has helped me meet my customer base and get feedback on how I can improve my business and what new items I can add to my store.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients for me has been being a vendor at many events within my city as well as putting my products on etsy. This has helped me meet customers, get feedback, as well as reach customers from all over the world.
