We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kayla Victor. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kayla below.
Kayla, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I have been a full-time graphic designer since 2017, but my love for stationery started when I was a little girl. My parents used to actually buy me a box of printer paper and notebooks for Christmas every year.
Ive always had a strong passion for good design and quality paper products but when I designed and planned my wedding – that is when I knew I wanted to share this passion with others.
I create custom wedding stationery and signage for clients across the nation and I absolutely love it! I strive to create something that fully encompasses the brides and grooms’ love story while also creating a consistent look and feel from the moment a guest opens their wedding suite to when they walk into the ceremony and reception.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Kayla, and I am a graphic designer specializing in wedding stationery, branding and logo design.
I started in the wedding industry in June of 2022 and have loved working with all my clients and respective wedding vendors.
The biggest challenge and accomplishment in my business is creating a consistent unique design that can be transferable from the Save the Dates, Wedding Invitation Suites, to the table numbers and welcome signs. It may seem frivolous to some but I look at weddings much like a business’ brand. If you’re inconsistent across your marketing and brand elements in a business, you fail to differentiate yourself in the marketplace and it’s confusing for customers. This same ideology should be taken into consideration when planning a wedding. Your typefaces should be the same on all your signage and stationery, adhere to a specific color a palette, etc. These are all things I create for my clients to provide the best experience for my couples and their guests.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Social media marketing and referrals has been the biggest source of new clients for me.
How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.
I actually recently just launched semi custom stationery sets on Etsy as well as vow books! Im super excited for this new endeavor and extra source of income.
