We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kayla Harris. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kayla below.
Kayla, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My main mission and the thing I’m most passionate about is all things creative and bridging the gap between faith and art. My area of focus is making art specifically for artists.
The reason for this is because I’m a person of faith. And so I love using what I feel God gave me to talk about the beauty of creation and life and him.
Growing up there weren’t a lot of avenues or groups in the christian entertainment industry that did this in a way that wasn’t cheesy. Now we’re finally starting to see it done in new, exciting, and excellent ways. It’s come a long way but I want to be a part of helping it continue to advance.
Kayla, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I think this is the perfect question for my journey right now. I am currently having to pivot in the industry I do creative work for. I’ve held a creative job within the church world for the last five years or so. Last year, there was a shift in to where I was no longer doing that so I am now having to figure out if that’s the avenue I want to continue in or if I want to change or add or take away. It’s been challenging but also been fun to discover, dream, and relearn.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The goal or mission in my creative journey is to always create. It’s what I feel like I was made to do. I’ve done it in some capacity my whole life. But the ultimate mission in creating is to create for the creator. I truly believe God is the ultimate creative. And so my sole goal is to bring it all back to him.
