Kaye , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had started sooner?
I think about this all the time. I wish I would’ve started making music in high school so I could’ve made fans out of all my peers. Not only that but I would be much more advanced at my craft by now! When I started making music I was in college and I played around with music before then but never actually recorded a song. I started at a good time because I made a lot of connections in college, but you can never have enough fans!
Kaye , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
At first making music was the last thing on my mind, but my best friend had other plans for me and forced me to. Now I love everything about music! Im so passionate about it and I’m sure this my calling. I make all kinds of music, mostly rap/hiphop but don’t be surprised if you hear a Kaye Money pop song on the billboard! I think what sets me apart from everybody else that makes music is my drive, passion, and work ethic. I’m working on music pretty much everyday now and I love it. I’ve come such a long way from when I started and was only getting 100 views a song, now I’m making songs with popular artists all over the world. I’m glad I found my calling so early in life so now the only thing I have to do is grind to show the world my talents. If you’re looking for the next artist to bet on, you’ve found him!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, there is a goal driving my creative journey. 100%! My goal is to become a very popular and highly paid artist from my talent. I also hope to spiral off into acting, and modeling from my music career.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist to me is when people acknowledge my talent, or tell me they like my art. I do this for myself but I love to make music that touches others. Telling me you like my music is probably the best compliment you could ever give me!
