Katrina, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?

Starting a business is always a risk, but it’s one that can come with great rewards. While it’s easy to look back and wish we had started sooner, it’s important to remember that everything happens for a reason. Perhaps waiting until 40s was the best choice for me, I allowed myself to gain the necessary experience and knowledge to succeed in my chosen field. As the owner of a gallery and being an artist I have a unique set of challenges to navigate.
Running a business requires a lot of time and effort, and being an artist adds an extra layer of complexity.
However, the rewards of working for yourself and pursuing your passion are immeasurable.
Remember, it’s never too late to start something new. Whether you’re in your 30s, 40s, or beyond, there’s always time to pursue your dreams and make them a reality. So, keep moving forward and enjoy the adventure !

In 2015 , I started my journey as an artist, and it was an experience that change my life forever. My passion for art had always been present, but it wasn’t until that year that took the first step towards making it a reality. As time went on, my hunger for owning my own gallery grew. I knew that this was where I wanted to be, and I was determined to make it happen. I spend countless hours researching the industry, learning about the business side of art, and networking with other artists and art enthusiasts. Today, Katrina Moldova gallery stands as a testament to my love for art and my commitment to sharing it with the world. It’s a space where artists can showcase their work, and art enthusiasts can connect with art on a deeper level.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

To achieve this, I have focused on attending and hosting a variety of events, such as art fairs, exhibitions, and gallery openings. These events provide an opportunity to meet with potential clients in person, showcase our collection, and engage in conversations about art and the gallery. This not only helps to establish personal connections and build trust, but also allows us to gain valuable feedback and insights from our visitors.
