We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Katie Belle a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Katie Belle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Music has called to me from such a young age, in a way i’ve never imagined anything different. But also looking back at it and when i was a kid I was t conventional anyway. The way i dressed, how i acted for my age, even the way I imagined the world and my future. Sometimes i feel like i chose music, but i know music also chose me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Katie Belle! Im pop artist from Atlanta, GA. I got my start in music back in 2010 and have been doing it ever since. I was on American Idol season 17 and have recorded countless songs between Nashville and LA. My goal as an artist is to just be honest and hope that there are people out there who are just as messy and crazy as me. If this is our first time meeting i just want to say thank you for reading this article and i hope you enjoy. I also have a new single out called Next Ex, you should give it a listen!!
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
Me: I think NFT are a super innovative and cool concept. I was involved in a project with ADA Ninjaz earlier this year and i had a blast being apart of it. It took some time to learn the lingo and get it all set up but i 100% see the pros. I think as creators continue to develop the NFT, CNFT space it will be a very valuable tool for creatives. Music included. I cant wait to see what happens next with it.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
That i have to let go of the things i cant control. Im such a perfectionist sometimes, i can get really bad tunnel vision when it comes to goals, to the point where if something happens (or doesnt) that i didnt have planned i freak out a little. But things change all the time and i cant live life like that or run a successful business. It doesn’t really matter what happens most of the time, its about how you handle yourself.
