We recently connected with Kathy Moufarrege and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kathy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Having faced significant challenges in my youth, including growing up with an alcoholic father and immigrating from Lebanon during the war with my mother, I learned the value of resilience and creativity. Limited access to art fueled my desire to create; I even resorted to taking crayons from school one by one just to color in the Penny Saver catalog. Over time, as I gained confidence, I was able to ask teachers for supplies, and they generously provided me with construction paper.
As I developed my artistic skills, I discovered a profound purpose: to teach and support those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or simply seeking relaxation. My mission is to harness the power of art as a therapeutic tool, providing a safe space for self-expression and healing for others.

Kathy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My husband and I own a restoration/construction company and being successful in that for 20 years, honestly I wanted to more to this thing called life, I always wanted to be the person I needed during my struggles. I started my art journey to help other 2018 and found that this is my passion, to create and most importantly help people. I have corporate events to one on one session and love this journey.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
It’s unique, people are happy when they create.

Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
I was marketing to property managers to hire me to host a paint night for there tenants, they did not want to hire me because it was pricy and could get messy, I knew they were going to love having me there so I offered a free paint night for about 50 tenants. I invested my time and the supplies worth $2000. They hire me now quarterly to host and help them team build with there staff. Going steady for the past 4 years
