Kathy, appreciate you joining us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
One of the best ways we show appreciation at HTP Events is by going the extra mile without being asked. Whether it’s adding a special detail, upgrading an element of the design, or spending extra time perfecting a setup, we look for opportunities to exceed expectations.
We never take for granted that a client chose us among so many local vendors. Every event is a meaningful milestone in someone’s life, and we’re genuinely grateful to be part of it. The greatest reward is seeing clients feel valued, cared for, and confident that they made the right choice.


Kathy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
HTP Events was created from a simple love for hosting beautiful, meaningful moments and has grown into a full-service event planning and design brand rooted in intentional, elevated experiences. I started in 2020 with intimate picnic setups and small gatherings, and over time it naturally expanded into weddings, milestone celebrations, and full event design as clients began trusting me with bigger and more personal moments.
Today, HTP Events specializes in event planning, styling, and décor for weddings, bridal and baby showers, proposals, corporate events, and luxury picnics. We handle everything from concept and design to execution, focusing on creating cohesive, stress-free experiences so clients can truly be present and enjoy their day.
What sets us apart is our approach—we don’t just “set up events,” we curate experiences. I’m very hands-on and detail-focused, and I care deeply about making every event feel personal rather than packaged. Many of our best ideas come from listening closely to our clients and adding thoughtful touches that reflect their story.
What I’m most proud of is the trust people place in us. We are often chosen among many talented local vendors, and that never goes unnoticed. Every booking feels like an honor, and we treat each event with gratitude and care as if it were our own celebration.
At the core, HTP Events is about creating beautiful spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and at ease—while we take care of the details behind the scenes.


Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Word of mouth has been the most effective strategy for growing my clientele. Most of our bookings come from past clients sharing their experience, or guests attending an event and later reaching out because they saw our work firsthand. We focus on creating moments that naturally speak for themselves, so referrals happen organically. We also have close to 180 five-star Google reviews, which continue to help build trust and visibility with new clients.


Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Our reputation has been built through consistency, attention to detail, and showing up with integrity for every event—big or small. Clients know they can trust us to deliver what we promise, and that reliability, combined with a strong emphasis on personalized service and care, has helped us earn trust in our local market.
