We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kathleen Haden. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kathleen below.
Kathleen, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, our mission has been the same since the day we started our business in 2016. To help establish a new health paradigm that embraces vibrational medicine as a prominent alternative method for improved health & wellness.
We are a team of musicians, movement specialists, scientists, woodworkers & dreamers. We compose all of our own music, most of which is recorded in the ancient tonal scale of 432 Hz. Each album is a beautiful blend of melodies and sounds infused with frequencies that address a specific condition. We also design, build, and assemble our vibrational products. We give back as a company to different charities that we support. Last year we gave 800 downloads to the Alzheimer’s Association, 600 downloads to the Autistic community, and this year we are donating to the Veterans a download for PTSD and giving our latest album called Safe & Sound for Love & Protection for anyone who has or is suffering from Trauma and Abuse. We give away our music to those in need and to help change the world we live in.
All of it is made with love and intention to touch you on a cellular level.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
Kathleen’s knowledge of Health & Wellness has always kept here in the forefront of the latest trends from Pilates, Massage, Water & Sound Therapy. When she was asked to be in a movie called “Keeper of the Keys” to demonstrate her Aqua Motion program, she never dreamed where that would take her. Kathleen and her partner John met a fellow cast member who was into Sound Therapy named Regina Murphy. Regina talked to them about putting frequencies in the water for healing. So they tried it and knew that was their next direction with their water program. When looking for music to use, Kathleen and John realized it would be too costly to buy music, so John who is a musician began composing music for the water and adding frequencies to the music. They went on to become Sound Therapists working with some of the great Sound Therapists throughout the country. Living in Colorado, they felt it was time to move to a warmer client and settled on SE Florida, where John was commissioned to build a water sound table for an established retreat center, that was over 10 years ago. We then began our Aqua Motion program there, and people continued wanting the music so we started making CD’s and then our music company Good Vibrations was formed. We have gone on to work in country clubs, resorts, spas, salt rooms, massage establishments, hospitals, doctors and dentist offices throughout SE Florida and the Caribbean.
We have over 150 albums of our own plus our teams music. We researched for several years and found the perfect vibrational speaker that plays our music. We have a Sonic Emersion Table, The Platform, and Sound Lounges that all play our music. We also are just returning to our Cosmic Concert Schedule which is held at the Cox Science Center in the Planetarium, the next one is in June 29, 2022 and here is the link to buy tickets is https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
Conversations about M&A are often focused on multibillion dollar transactions – but M&A can be an important part of a small or medium business owner’s journey. We’d love to hear about your experience with selling businesses.
I have sold 2 Wellness Centers and what I have found to be true in both cases, its hard to sell anything but assets unless you start from the beginning for the business to be established with the intention of selling. You will need to keep your accounting correct, have good financials, good inventory, and client base. Then you have something to sell a potential buyer.
My first thing I tell to anyone starting a business, get with someone who can guide you. I went to the SBA (Small Business
Association, they offered mentorship, classes on what you need to start a business and it was all for free.
There are nonprofits in Palm Beach County which help mentor businesses and get them grant money, offer chances to get before investors, and more.
Do your research, on buying and selling a business. It will pay off………
Depending on the type of business, the best buyer is someone vested already in the company, who wants to continue it on.
I was fortunate that I sold both of my centers to people already working there and knew everyone and keeps things as they were.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had a Aerobic studio in Texas in the late 80’s when the oil crash hit. I lost over 200 members overnight. I was introduced to Pilates in a dance class at the local college, which I feel in love with and that took me to becoming a Master Pilates Instructor and something I still do today.
