Alright, Katherine thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to build meaningful relationships with my customers while creating beautiful memories, one balloon at a time. As a proud first-generation Latina, I am deeply grateful to my wonderful parents, who worked tirelessly to provide for me and my siblings despite the challenges of growing up in a low-income household. Celebrations were often limited, but my parents always ensured we had a birthday cake, instilling in me a sense of gratitude.
While I was raised to be humble, my childhood dreams were filled with balloons, cakes, and confetti—elements of celebration that felt extravagant to me. When I became a mother, I wanted to bring that joy to my children. Realizing that extravagant decorations could be costly, I embraced the DIY spirit and began experimenting with balloon designs. This sparked the idea for Fabbloons, where I strive to make beautiful celebrations affordable. It has been a beautiful journey, and I am excited to continue sharing joy through my creations!

Fabbloons was born out of my passion for creating memorable celebrations. I got into the balloon business after realizing how much joy and excitement balloons bring to events. At Fabbloons, we specialize in unique balloon arrangements, including arches, bouquets, and custom designs for any occasion, from birthdays to weddings.
What sets Fabbloons apart is my attention to detail and commitment to create different decorations each and every set up. I take pride in crafting each piece to ensure it fits perfectly with the theme of the event and brings a smile to everyone’s face. I’m most proud of the positive feedback from clients who appreciate the creativity and care that goes into every order.
I want potential clients to know that Fabbloons is not just about balloons; it’s about creating unforgettable experiences that add a special touch to their celebrations.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
For my balloon business, Fabbloons, the best source of new clients has been word of mouth and social media. When people see the unique designs and vibrant colors of my balloons at events, they often ask for my info. Plus, sharing photos of my work on platforms like Instagram and Facebook has really helped attract new customers!

To keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty, I regularly send out updates on new designs, special offers, and upcoming events. I also engage with clients on social media by responding to comments and sharing their photos featuring my balloons. Personal touches, like sending thank-you messages after events, really help build a strong relationship!
