Katherine, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

Four years ago I decided to take a leap of faith and begin a journey of self discovery and turn my life in a new direction. I always knew I would begin supporting clients on their life journey at some point in my life through channeling, but I wasn’t sure when and how it would come together. After a very difficult year, I left a career I loved and began building a metaphysical business that was focused on my ability to channel.

I had been channeling for over 6 years at that point and although I knew I would do this as my full time work, I kept pushing it off. I wasn’t sure how I would run a business that many people did not understand. Channeling is a form of psychic and mediumship, but encompasses so much more as the messages are direct from source energy and remove my own opinions, judgements and beliefs.

After leaving my career, I went on a journey of self-discovery. I had to find out who I was. This was a difficult question to answer. I took time to evaluate every part of my life. I spent a lot of time traveling, seeing different places, feeling the energy there and picking up information about myself along the way. I jumped into building a business, taking classes, and seeing how I could expand my knowledge and skills to support others on their journey.

Even when I questioned my decision, in my heart and soul, I knew it was the right thing to do, which kept me going. Looking back, I’m so happy I took the leap, uprooted myself and not only have a business and career I love, but I also found out who I was in the process. And I now know I am a Being a Love, and Light who supports people in Aligning their Life to their Highest Purpose.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I believe that it’s never too early or too late to align with your purpose and direct your life onto its optimal path. Empowering you with this knowledge is the key to finding contentment, peace and joy along the way. I’ve spent many years looking at every aspect of my life, and the journey I’ve done for myself, I now assist clients in taking the same journey, that’s a little more expeditious than mine was.

As we navigate the daily tasks, twists and turns of life, it’s easy to become disconnected from the bigger picture. Some of us wander from our purpose. Some struggle to uncover it altogether, but I believe it’s never too early or too late to align with your purpose and direct your life onto it’s optimal path.

I created The Channeled Source as a way to approach channeled wisdom a little bit differently. My connection with the Druid collective consciousness and their grounding practical way of understanding life brings forth information that your soul truly wants you to know and understand in a way that connects to you and allows you to begin healing and transforming.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

Word of mouth and referrals has worked very well for me. When you become as familiar as I do with a client, they need to trust you and to know someone else who has worked with you always makes them feel more comfortable.

I’ve been expanding out more with a YouTube channel, being a guest on podcasts and offering a free metaphysical discussion group. I’m seeing that although word of mouth is great, I’m needing to allow people to get to know me first, and when they are comfortable, they will reach out.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

I read a lot, but not business books. I read those that can teach me how to connect more with my purpose. Dying to Be Me is by Anita Moorjani, is a story about her near death experience and how she was living a life that wasn’t truly hers. It’s something I believe we all do everyday and I did for many years.

This made an even deeper connection that at a soul level, we are all the same, and when we embrace that we are all the same, just on different journey’s we can see things in such a different way. Even when I’m upset, mad, or angry, I can see that they are teaching me something, and allows me to either make a change, set up boundaries or reflect on my beliefs.

So many of us are doing what we are supposed to do, instead of what we need to do and honoring our life purpose. When I changed my way of thinking and could see the oneness in the world it allowed me to view things in a much differnet manner.

I don’t think we need to read business books to be better business people. I believe the more books about perspective, people and life we read, will make us better people which in turn make us better in business.
