Katerine , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

I feel as though my life has been one risk after the next the last couple of years. Even if I didn’t necessarily feel ready, the universe has been doing it’s thing! I moved back to Miami almost four years ago from NJ, where I worked for well known law firms in NY. Let’s just say that life feels so far gone that I sometimes forget I lived it. The funny thing is that if you would of asked me four years ago if I saw myself owning a business or wanting to be my own boss, I would of given you a blank stare. Fast forward four years later and I’m working part time as I built my business and pursue everything that lights my heart on fire.

Katerine , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m an Intuition Development Mentor. In other words, I mentor clients to align with their intuition & psychic abilities. I help them find their voice & to figure out why they lost it to begin with. My methods are a little different, I don’t just rely on spirituality or occult studies, I incorporate psychology into everything I do. You could say it’s like psychic therapy but the purpose is to better understand your subconscious behaviors, address your behavioral patterns & align with your abilities, which yes, we all have! My life is filled with magic! The things I’ve seen people be able to do after some coaching is truly incredible! I’m always blown away by the life changes my clients go on to making after realizing that they’ve always been powerful & magical.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I’m not a “proven methods” person. I’m definitely not but it wasn’t for the reasons I thought. I’m sure proven methods work to some degree but I’ve always wanted to pave my own way in order to help others find the way that works for them too. Definitely ran through some walls figuring that out. I’ve learned to pick my battles in order to conserve my energy for the paths that are worth paving.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I started by creating spiritual wellness events. I met so many people! I thought that was my calling for a while, until I realized it wasn’t that I was meant to be behind the scenes as much as I was afraid of it because I wasn’t sure if what I had to say held value. Interestingly enough, most people saw me as a leader even when I had no intention of being that.
