Kate, appreciate you joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
My LIFE is taking risks. It has benefited me deeply and is the thing I consistently encourage clients to do every single day. That is how we grow! Go for it- when we act, we allow the Greater Energy of all that is to show up in support of us. Spirit is waiting for us to make moves and live an extraordinary life. We will always be supported, amen.
Everyday, it is asking “What is one thing I can do today in the direction of my dreams?” Simple, and then do it!
Starting my business among a family and background of conservative Christians was stepping out on a limb. My very existence is risky, and I think if we are all truly living, that’s true of us all. My actions of stepping out of the norm and betting on my vision & the medicine I have to give has always paid off, even if I only learn an important lesson as the end result!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi, I’m Kate! I’m an intuitive coach who helps women and non-binary clients access the energetic, spiritual realm where so much of their answers are found.
I approach everything- mental health, physical ailments, life decisions, healing work and beyond, through energy! We ARE largely energy, and that is the field I am expert it.
My clients come to me for the vast array of skills I utilize. No one session is ever the same! I utilize different tools and skills based on what is needed for your highest good that day. My goal is to help clients get what they want, see the real truth through all the muck and mire, and feel freedom throughout every part of their being.
I apply psychic guidance, intuitive life coaching, energetic healing and somatic trauma release in each and every session, training or event that I hold. It has been largely impactful and dare I say life changing for those involved.
We get unstuck together and you find yourself launched into the most quantum, beautiful healing chapter of your existence. Amen.
Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
I love this question and has to answer it. I have had many moments in my first 3.5 years of business where I wasn’t sure how my business or personal needs would be met. It has been a part of my blessing, actually. I have learned to embody the deepest trust from these experiences.
I remember a low cash flow month. I had just put on a large retreat, joined a somatic body-based trauma training, traveled to Costa Rica for the in person immersion and paid my contractors. I was running dry! Down to the very last day of the month, I was working out ways to support myself.
It was this period of “squeezing” that inspired and brought about my highest paying client. I had worked to create an amazingly special opportunity just for them that they couldn’t say no to. I was so proud of myself and have seen time and time again how deeply Spirit supports my work and all who are impacted. It was a huge victory!
More and more, I find this trust as second nature and have begun to expect my abundance and ultimate providence.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Yes! I started from the ground up in the basement of my parents home with 400 some odd followers on Instagram. Through hiring GOOD coaches (and listened to what they told me) and utilizing giveaway collaborations with other businesses who had an audience I wanted to serve, my following has grown tremendously. Word of mouth and Instagram are some of my greatest form of leads and have been huge avenues for growth.
