Alright, Kassie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?

Yes it’s hard. I wanted something that would be catchy and gives a nostalgic feeling. So when you hear This_is4dacool, most people often think about the the old school song by Babyface.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Kassie Lawrence. I am a Houston native. I am a graduate of The Texas Southern University school of social work. I’ve been in the social services field over 10+ years.

In the summer of 2017, I attended the Bridal Extravaganza with my niece who was recently engaged. As we explored all the different things you could possibly have at a wedding, I was fixated on the photo booths. I remember coming home and researching booths. At this time, it wasn’t in the budget, but I didn’t give up.

In 2021, I started researching again. I found a manufacturing company in Dallas, Tx. They were having a webinar that same night & I registered. The rest is history.

Later that week I spoke with a representative from the company & a few weeks later I was picking up my booths.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Now I am not a social media guru. From what I’ve read and posts that I’ve seen is simply to post and put yourself out there. So I’ve taken time to learn reels, TikTok and CapCut. It’s hasn’t all been perfect but the more you do it, the more comfortable you get. You’ll learn how to edit and catch the angles.

My advice would be “If you post it, business will come.”

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

That’s simple. Great costumer service. I treat people like I would want to be treated. I make it a point to greet everyone with a genuine smile and make them feel welcome. I bring the extra pizzazz to any occasion.
