Kasaundra, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

When deciding on a name for my company, I wanted something that would reflect our core values and resonate with our target audience. Our mission is to unite brands with their audience and increase brand equity through visual storytelling. Our creative engine is made up of authentic and organic ideas that support the evolution, elevation, and emergence of a brand. I conducted thorough research into the arts, media, and entertainment industry and identified that our services would be more than just a service but a creative engine. I wanted our name to be unique, memorable, easily pronounceable, and reflective of our industry expertise. KreativBrain Studios (KBS) perfectly encapsulates our mission to provide cutting-edge and transformative solutions to our clients. I also loved that it had my initials in it and a modern and energetic feel, which resonates with our mission.

My name is Kasaundra Bryant, and I am the owner and CEO of KreativBrain Studios. I am a film director, graphic designer, photographer, and brand strategist. As a multifaceted creative, I’ve always had a deep interest in all things creative, ranging from music and art to film. However, it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I decided to fully commit to my business and dedicate an entire year to discovering my own brand identity through trial and error. Yes, trial and error; your brand will evolve as you evolve.

The evolution of KreativBrain Studios has been nothing short of astonishing at times. In just three years of being in business, we’ve had the opportunity to film for the CIAA Tournament 2022-2024, embark on multiple documentary projects, and have been hired to take photos for prominent brands like AARP and Patron, among other notable achievements. It’s truly amazing how we’ve been blessed to reach such milestones in such a short span of time.

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative professional is the unique opportunity to bring ideas and visions to life while making a meaningful impact in the world. One particular experience from my journey that truly illustrates my resilience in business revolves around a significant transition that could have easily led me to quit. It was a period marked by challenges with business partners, financial setbacks, and more. What kept me going through these trying times was the unwavering faith I have in God, which has always been the driving force behind my resilience.

I took the lessons learned from my experiences and used them to reevaluate my business model, partnerships, and financial strategies. Over time, I was able to rebuild and adapt. What initially seemed like an insurmountable setback eventually became a catalyst for personal and professional growth. I formed new partnerships, honed my financial acumen, and diversified my business offerings.

Looking back, I can see that my resilience during challenging transitions not only strengthened my business but also deepened my faith. My unwavering faith in God has been the bedrock of my resilience, allowing me to navigate these challenges with grace and emerge stronger on the other side. My experiences have instilled in me the belief that challenges are stepping stones to success, and I approach every new hurdle with the same unwavering determination and faith.
