Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Karon Wilson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Karon, thanks for joining us today. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers

I was In Atlanta and Filmed this amazing project called ” The Come Up: Atlanta” we were gearing u to wrap the project up and had a-lot of amazing footage in it an also had an Oscar winning actress do a cameo in it. The Last week of us filming the project i had been robbed of all my camera equipment and footage from out of the car we were using to film scenes with. It was one of the most depressing times in my life and i had no idea how i was going to continue but with faith, prayer & loved ones i was able to get back to it and reshoot the project and put it out for the fans to enjoy. it was a major set back but is story that shows everything can be taken away from me and i can still get back on my feet and still go strong.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Ka’ron Wilson I am the Creator & Director of my own film company titled ” Gemini FIlmz * I specialize and became really known for the online reality web series and scripted series as-well gaining millions of viewers and thousands of subscribers. Ive always been the kind of creative that will always want to improve i think with each project once finished there should be a way to look back and see what you could’ve improved and how to take that going into the next project. Since 15 ( now 25) i’ve always been inspired by movies and film i use to get bullied in school and going to see a movie would take me into another world and make me forget about any problems that is occurring in my life at the moment. I want to create a Huge impact / leave a legacy in film and for years to come with heart touching, heart racing projects that will entertain Millions/ Billions of People.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Building an audience on social media is NOT easy . I was lucky enough to create something that lots of viewers wanted to see , we have not had many reality shows that followed the lives of the LGBT Community so took it into my hands to begin showing that and people love it. Being Consistent is very important fans & viewers want to always seen whats next and what can keep them on their toes, taking super long breaks in-between isn’t the best idea, always create and collaborate with people who might have a bigger following than you that can also boost your fan base.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

The Robbery Story for sure is the biggest one that i had to overcome , but advice and something i can for sure say is DO NOT get stuck in one way of thinking , In work there are things that change and shift that you have to adjust too. Always have a Plan B and C sitting and being sad over something not working isn’t gonna help the situation always figure out another way on how it could be done or figured out and if not go back to the drawing board and see what else can work !
