Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Karolyn Drone Smith. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Karolyn Drone , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

I was born to two loving parents in Akron, Ohio .

My dad worked at the local Rubber factory Goodyear, and my mom stayed at home to raise me and my siblings.

It was my Dad’s strong work ethic combined with my Moms nurturing spirit that made me the woman I am today.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am an author, wellness coach, speaker and founder of Self Elevate ,a platform that helps empower countless women on their journey to self-empowerment.

As someone who has experienced some of life challenges such as grief ,anxiety and low self esteem I offer helpful principles to encourage those who have also experienced life’s challenges and guide them to “elevate” their mindset through fitness and self-care.

I’m proud of providing a safe space for women to come together at my monthly Wellness Talks to openly discuss challenges they are facing reaching their Wellness goals.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

My Authenticity and transparency to share my struggles and challenges have helped build the reputation I have today.

After losing my Mother and my sister a week apart from one another, I learned I have the power to Self Elevate through my grief by incorporating self care to on my journey to wellness.
