Karol, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
It was esencial for my 20-year old self to learn how to manage my money, to learn all the strategies and tools to successfully do it since I was with no financial back up plan, in this new country I just moved in, other than coming back to my country (which I did not want to consider as an option). Also, I felt the need to take most of my opportunity of living in a new country with a stable economy. Thus, learning and applying the methods to see what actually works and what does not were my first steps in this world that I am now. So, that helped me find my mission. My mission as a finance coach and behind all the content that I post weekly on my social media channels is to bring awareness about the importance of having control over your finances, and how that could change your life.
Karol, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Venezuelan currently living in the sun state, in Miami, where I work as Senior Auditor for a CPA firm as well as where I develop my brand and my finance coaching services. I have been a lover for numbers, and being surrounded by business from a young age, my love for finances started growing as well. I would always loved to hear about good or bad business situations that happened and how everything was solved. My curiosity for those type of situations is always growing. Thus, I decided to create a space, a community, for people that feel the same way about finances as well as for people that want to learn about it and that is how everything for my finance related content in social media and services started. Now, I offer personalized class sessions about personal and business finances for individuals or businesses in which your needs and questions are addressed in addition to provide you with reports and templates that would help with your needs. Before the session, we would talk about your situation and your specific needs. Based on such conversation I would create the reports and the support documentation needed to help you get out from that situation and get to your personal and/or business financial goals. This community is what I am most proud of since I have been able to help a large amount of people through my finance services, master class, and social media content to take control over their finances, change bad and no efficient habits, and start achieving goals.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media channels, and referrals from individuals that were part of my master class or took a personalized class.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I have always been a social media lover. So, since years prior of me deciding to enter into this industry, I was building my social media audience by sharing my personal story. Once I made the change to start sharing this new type of content, most of my community accepted it and has grown with me in this topic. My advise for those that are just starting to build the social media presence would be to first have a mission for your content in mind; what you want people to do with your content and how you want them to react. And later, share content with unique figures that represent yourself/business. That would differentiate you from others in your industry and would help you create a strong community.
