Karley , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

The idea was rooted in family. I come from a big family, my grandmother and grandfather had 13 children. For the majority of my childhood, I was raised by my grandmother. I like to think of her as a holistic goddess full of love. She migrated from Tunguitiro, Michoacan Mexico, and brought with her natural, cultural practices that have been carried on for generations. I firmly believe that the environment you grow up in is part of your identity. I come from a family that shares a love for homegrown food, herbs, plants, and the power they hold.

Now as I get older, I love embracing and learning natural, holistic practices. I started my business “Soul Glow” in 2020, consisting of beauty service, Organic tea Herb, herb-infused Lash, Brow serum, and a few other natural self-care products. I don’t know where my business will take me but one thing I am certain about in this life is that wherever or whatever I do will consist of a place of love and natural resources.

I am a small-town girl who was born and raised in Idaho. I enjoy sharing acts of kindness with the world and advocate for myself and those around me to ALWAYS take up space. I started my business “Soul Glow” in 2020, consisting of beauty service, Organic tea Herb, herb-infused Lash, Brow serum, and a few other natural self-care products. I work hard every day to provide not only quality but readable ingredient products. I don’t know where my business will take me but one thing I am certain about in this life, wherever or whatever I do will consist of a place of love and natural resources.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

I will say stepping out of my comfort zone and attending network events has helped so much. Individuals I met at these events send over new clients. I also do local Pop-ups and showcase my natural products.

Does your business have multiple or supplementary revenue streams (like a ATM machine at a barbershop, etc)?

Finding local retail space for my products has helped with multiple streams of income. Not only do I sell my products other storefronts in Idaho carry and sell my quality and readable ingredient products.
