Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Karla Briceño. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Karla, thanks for joining us today. One of the toughest parts of scaling a business is maintaining quality as you grow. How have you managed to maintain quality? Any stories or advice?
This is one of the biggest challenges we encounter as business owners; I would rather focus more on quality and maintain a boutique-style agency where my clients have access to me. So I don’t accept everyone as a client; I always say BOND is not for everyone. I make sure we are a good match before we onboard a client, and I find myself declining a lot of new business because of it. But that really helps me keep the quality of work that my clients expect.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Karla Briceño, the founder and CEO of BOND groupe. BOND is a boutique social media agency that specializes in luxury real estate new developments; we assist these projects in establishing brand awareness and ensuring they are discovered by the right audience. Our mission is to help developers showcase the future lifestyle these buildings will provide if you were to live in them. Social media is always evolving, and it’s more important than ever for businesses to have a presence on social media platforms to increase their visibility, drive traffic to their websites, reach the right people, and build their credibility.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
When I started BOND I already had 14 years of experience doing marketing for real estate, and I was fortunate to work with the very best in the business, which made me grow as a marketer and creative. BOND got its first social media account, which was an amazing new development in Miami Beach. My work got the attention of realtors, customers, and other developers, who in turn started to reach out to me with interest for BOND to run their social media channels. For me, doing a good job and going above and beyond is not only necessary to build your reputation but the only way I can be happy with my work, and that has brought new business. Also, sticking to a niche you know very well helps establish yourself as an expert in it.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
I think it goes back to reputation and doing a good job. If you do a good job, clients will refer you, and you will get new business from established clients, which was always my goal: to work with developers with a growing portfolio so we can have ongoing work with them.
