Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Karina Falcon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Karina, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
Right now I work in the most meaningful project as a Creatrix, The moon lodge or Carpa Lunar which is a studies center of the Native teachings and a path of decolonizing the soul by following the path of the heart. We’ve been giving online courses since 2013 and have in-person workshops around the world since 2016. We are now in a whole new chapter or season, we are dreaming the new world or paradigm.
Karina, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Iam a Mexican Transgenerational Consultant, Writer, Poet, and Editor who centers in the Sacred Feminine Wisdom. I’ve been practicing the way of the Medicine Wheel from ancestral medicine, astrology, Native American, and Maya-Tolteca spirituality precepts for about 17 years. Abuela Luna/Grandmother Moon is my teacher. I also have studies in English Literature, Transgenerational Philosophy, and Family Constellations.
In 2013 I founded Mujer Lunar, a portal for Spanish-speaking women who wants to explore their sacredness through Ancestral Feminine Wisdom and Visionary tools. These tools help them be rooted while weaving their heart’s intent in the birthing of projects and entrepreneurial creative endeavors.Iam informed in complex and transgenerational trauma.
Through the Medicine Wheel, Family Constellations, Astrology, Storytelling, Moon-Wisdom, and Rituals, I help women to find their heart’s sacred intent and find inner resources that will guide them to achieve life-service goals. I honor women’s ancestral framework while daring to give birth to new visionary ways to walk the Earth with Sacred Beauty.
In 2016 I founded with my husband the Moon Lodge or Carpa Lunar in which long programs and in person programs are held. We are now through a very beautiful transformation, designing an extender curricula and two year programs and certifications around sacred wisdom, visionary paths for leaders, astrology and storytelling rooted in Mayan and Toltec paths of original teachings for creating new cultures.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
To dream big and follow my dreams. To know that the initial step towards creation and vision is always imagination. To honor the power of imagination is the first step to build something new, a new culture, a new world, a new pathway, new structures. Many inspirational leaders do not know where to go for vision and for new strategies because these times are for us to dream it, to dance it, to pull it out from our hears. So, again it is time to dream big and dance furiously.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the culture of struggle and difficulty as a valid path. I have to relearn how to create with joy, love and following my heart ecah time. By unlearning the creazy busy culture I have allowed myself to rest, be happy while creating and have pleasure as a creatix of new structures. And I have never been more abundant and rich.
