Kanessa, appreciate you joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started sooner or later?
I joined the real estate industry 1 year ago as a wholesale Investor. Recognizing my limitless potential, i earned my brokers license during the tail end of the pandemic. In addition to my other professional pursuits, i began purchasing, rehabbing and flipping properties on my own at 29 years old. My advice is to start your journey now. It does not have to be perfect.

Kanessa, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My resilience and my drive keep me learning and evolving. I’m always doing research to stay abreast of market trends and industry changes. Hands-on experience as a buyer and seller gives me a 360-degree perspective of what my clients are going through. I can predict their needs and ensure that their goals are met. That alone has led to many referrals and repeat customers. I use my time off to listen to self-development podcasts, read, travel and spend time with family.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Experience matters, and I’m always learning more with every sale, I often end up becoming friends with my clients, coworkers and service providers. In real estate, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make a deal happen and, more importantly, to keep it together. You need to be able to work with others to understand their views and find ways to compromise. When I start working with a new client,
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
I like to have a phone call to explain the process and then follow up with an in-person meeting to make sure we are on the same page. As questions arise, I always answer my phone. In real estate, you always need to be conscious of the numbers and people’s needs. I have successfully closed some very complex deals and know how to anticipate issues.
