We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kandy Parker. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kandy below.
Alright, Kandy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea came from my late mother. My mother was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis years ago and in 2015 it came back. Of courses we had to change her eating habits and what foods she consumed. I would just make her waters with a variety of fruits in them because she loved fruits. And after she passed in 2017. I still made them for my self for work. Then covid came and I was like let make my passion for others a business and that’s how Detox Waters By KP came about to honor my mothers legacy and make people feel good about being healthy and loving the inside of them as well as the outside. The KP stands for Kandy and Penny. It’s been a movement for the past few years now and I’m glad I acted on making it bigger then just fruit in a bottle.

Kandy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My brand basically symbolizes making you the best you can be. My favorite color is yellow and my favorite flower is the sunflower. With my business each product I make is made with love and can be tailored to anyone’s preferences. And I love doing drinks that I know will benefit my clients. I’m big on educating and making sure I make the correct products for each individual down to if they have any allergies to anything or any health issues or concerns. I think what makes me stand out is I know my products and I stand behind them and I believe in them as much as I believe in myself .

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social Media to me is a hit or miss but you have to be consistent and know who your audience is. Everyone will not like what you post but as long as you engage and be consistent word of mouth goes far. I used to post a lot now it’s bits and pieces but I built my brand on truth and integrity even if I don’t post people still know who to come to.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I show resilience and just keep on going even when I feel like throwing the towel in. I remember why I started and how many lives I’ve changed and impacted and I keep pushing. This is bigger then me I’m creating generational wealth for my kids and their kids.
