We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kamyab Mohager a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kamyab thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents, immigrants from Iran who fled before the Islamic Revolution due to their believe in a minority religion called the Baha’i faith, taught me two fundamental values: strong work ethic and the importance of mastering a craft that contributes to society. Their experience and teachings have been the backbone of my professional and personal life, guiding me to pursue a career that not only excels but also serves humanity.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a dentist deeply passionate about integrating digital workflows and advanced technology in dental care. At my private practice, Advanced Dentistry & Implants in Littleton, Colorado, I specialize in major rehabilitative treatments, offering patients durable alternatives to traditional dentures. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped for fully digital design and in-office fabrication, which elevates the comfort, strength, and quality of our treatments. My mission is to transform major dental cases with precision and innovation, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The cornerstone of growing my clientele has been an unwavering dedication to quality. My approach goes beyond dental procedures; I focus on building genuine connections with my patients, understanding them as individuals. This commitment to excellence, coupled with a deep respect for patient comfort and well-being, has been pivotal in not only attracting but also retaining clients who value the high standards of care we offer at our practice.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
In addition to training and knowledge, I believe passion is crucial for success in dentistry. My enthusiasm for dental implants and the integration of new technologies with proven restorative techniques has driven me to carve out a unique niche. This passion not only fuels my continuous learning but also inspires innovation in my practice, setting it apart in the field.
