We recently connected with Kamini Wood and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kamini thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made?
The best investment I made was on my continued growth. Often times there is a mentality that spending money on further training or support is “not in the budget”. However, what I have learned is that when you invest in yourself the ROI is multiplied by such a greater factor. I routinely say that a wise lawyer never represents himself or herself. And the best coaches have coaches. When we invest in ourselves we give ourselves the opening to expand what’s possible.

Kamini, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I was running my spouse’s law practice when I decided and chose to pivot into running my own business. This shift was hard because I had to release the guilt around shifting away from his practice and giving myself permission to focus on my passion.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Starting a business from scratch with little to no capital was not easy. But the truth is I anchored into my own belief in self as well as the confidence in my skills and deep passion I have for supporting others to help grow my practice.
