We recently connected with Kameryon Alexander Grey and have shared our conversation below.
Kameryon Alexander, appreciate you joining us today. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?
I have created a part time living with my creative work by starting an online business for freelance and studio photography/videography. My first milestone would be my first investment was my camera and eventually my professional business license. Speaking to family and friends that know me, I realized creating a business behind my passions was the best and accurate path for myself. Now I am full time freelancer with a passion to capture images and film to my community.

Kameryon Alexander, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started getting into photography and film back in 2017. I have always had deep passion for Fine arts and people. Shooting portraits, weddings, private events and family sessions 5 times a week and gathering all of the professional industry knowledge on photography. My plan was to grow and set myself a part with special niches of pop culture.
What makes my portfolio unique is the use of wardrobe based on cultural icons, characters from famous movies, mythological tales and many ancient civilizations. My team work on wide range projects from Purple Rain Theme photo shoots to ancient Viking theme.
For Film, I have several short digital films created for YouTube channel “OZ TV”. This collection showcases many of sciences fictions and mythological stories.
In 2018, I was blessed with shooting for the LA Rams and working under pro NFL photography legend Jeff Lewis. There, I learned drive, discipline and how to work with a professional team and company. By 2019, I graduated with a bachelors in Fine Arts & Technology, with an emphasis in Film. From this point, I established film and cinema as part of services I provide.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice
I really love the idea of non fungible tokens. The proposal of any kind of art being owned by an artist is prominent in my mind. Something like NFT’s are a true dream for people who create for a living and want to have something of ownership and distribution to what they do. For this, NFT’s is definitely in my good graces and I would love to post all of it soon online.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo is a great book that opens your mind to following your passions and dreams. Much of this book’s high cultural & religious values I adapt in my work.
