Learning photography is about understanding how to capture light, emotion, and perspective through a balance of technical skill and creativity. It begins with mastering the exposure triangle—aperture, shutter speed, and ISO—which control how light enters the camera and affects the image. Composition techniques like the rule of thirds, leading lines, and framing help create visually engaging photos, while learning to use both natural and artificial light adds depth and mood. Consistent practice, experimenting with different subjects, and studying other photographers sharpen your eye and style. The most essential skills in photography are understanding light, mastering composition, and knowing how to control your camera’s settings. These help you capture sharp, balanced, and visually powerful images. Creativity and patience are also key, as great photography comes from observation and timing as much as technique.

I built my audience on social media by consistently sharing content that reflects my passion, skills, and authentic voice. I focused on providing value—whether through tips, behind-the-scenes insights, or relatable stories—while engaging genuinely with followers and staying consistent in posting. My advice for those starting out is to find your niche, post regularly, interact with your audience, and stay true to your voice, because authenticity and persistence always attract the right followers over time.

Early in my journey, I struggled to gain traction and often faced setbacks that made me question whether I could succeed. Instead of giving up, I committed to learning from every mistake, experimenting with new ideas, and staying consistent even when progress seemed invisible. Over time, those challenges became lessons, and my persistence paid off—helping me build my audience, refine my craft, and prove that true growth comes from resilience and the willingness to keep moving forward, no matter how hard it gets.
