We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kalynn Tolbert. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kalynn below.
Kalynn, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with a hypothetical question – if it were up to you, what would you change about the school or education system to better prepare students for a more fulfilling life and career?
I would love the educational system to teach us about real lifestyles, such a building credit, business bank account, first time house buying, etc
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a Gemini so I get really bored fast once I learned that I love to do hair and make other women feel pretty it’s something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, I love seeing women smile after looking in the mirror after I service them it’s the best feeling ever!
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
That alll money isn’t good money!!! Sadly but really true it was one client who always just give me a headache no matter what it seem like I could never make her 100% happy so it took for me to come up with a conclusion that maybe she just need to find another stylist and we go our separate ways 😪 sad but it saved both of us from a headache.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Yes once apart of tine I got no likes, no comments,, but everyday I still uploaded content if they aren’t liking and commenting trust me they are watching
