We recently connected with Kaliesha Canary and have shared our conversation below.
Kaliesha , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
I’ve been blessed with such wonderful people in my life that I have stories for days.
I’m a late bloomer and didn’t get my driver’s license until after high-school.
My godmother, (a retired school bus driver) taught me driving lessons and used the last of what she had in her account for gas in order for me to pass my exam.
Not only was she extremely patient with me, but she made sure I achieved that goal although she didn’t have much and didn’t allow me to give up on myself.
Kaliesha , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m K. Canary of the Diamond Process, where you Discover the jewel in you.
Not only do I Specialize in all things beauty, but I also help women find personal style as well . I also coach women on how to build confidence to go along with their new found style.
I own 24karatkatering where the finest foods feed your soul.
I’ve been in the beauty industry for more than a decade. I’ve been into fashion my entire life, and I’ve been cooking since the age of nine.
I initially introduced myself to the world as just a Cosmetologist, but I’m much more than that.
Although i operated as solely a cosmetologist for some time, I started my brand in 2015.knew I wanted it to be more than just hair, but I had no clue on what direction my skills would take me.
What I think sets me apart from others is that I can solve just about all of my clients problems in one place using all of my gifts.
I’m most proud that I can finally do everything that I love while making a difference in people’s lives. I get to be a part of many milestones and those that I serve will always remember me for that.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Yes! I actually have a few.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I want people like me to know that they can achieve anything they want ,how ever they want ,whenever they want. I want people to know that they don’t have to confine themselves to just one thing.
