We recently connected with Kali Taaffe-Rawls and have shared our conversation below

Kali, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you tell us a bit about who your hero is and the influence they’ve had on you?

My heroes are my parents. They have always worked really hard to support their family and make our dreams come true. From dance classes and football camps to wonderful vacations, my parents have worked hard to support my brother and I in every way possible. By doing so, they have showed me the value of hard work and the amazing things that can come from putting your all into what you do. Their support has also led me to reach for the stars and go after every dream I have. My parents also taught me the very valuable lesson of treating others how you would like to be treated and that drives my business. I treat my couples how I would want to be treated and for the most part I get the same respect in return.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am a day of coordinator in the wedding industry and I help dreams come true. My goal as your day of coordinator is to take all the stress away from you and your family, to set up your decor and make your vision come to life. I lead with my heart and treat my couples like they are family. My heart is what got me into this business as my first wedding was for one of my very dear friends who was battling cancer. I woke up one day with a crazy idea to get a wedding donated for her and her very deserving husband and children, and I did just that with the help of some very generous and amazing vendors.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients for me has been word of mouth within Facebook wedding groups. A great recommendation goes a long way and is the best compliment I can receive.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Hard work and recommendations from past clients have definitely helped build my reputation within the wedding industry.
