We were lucky to catch up with Kali Lewis recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kali thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
In a business where more than half of the time money speaks more than meaning, I am always elated to have the opportunity to create something with purpose. Our motto for Let’s Talk Productions is “We start the larger conversations”, and we have been dedicated to meaningful projects from day one.
My name is Kali Lewis CEO of ” Lets Talk Productions” and I have a question for you: Have you ever left a movie and immediately you and your friend or family member debate who you relate to, who the bad guy/girl is or a whole perspective on life? Or did you watch a dance movie and felt so inspired, you dance to your car?
Those are the projects I care to create, projects of influence , challenging perceives and social normals and social awareness. This year I have worked on documentaries showcasing topics such as black Mental health and depression, to projects shooting in Jamaica with a private chef speaking about the beauty of farm to table cooking and family Legacy. Also short films about cancer and how it affects loved ones and how God sometimes sends angels to protect you. This year so far has been filled with meaningful projects, just like we like it! I look forward to creating more with my team and clients as the year continues.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Kali Lewis. I was born in Miami,FL to two parents from the beautiful country of Jamaica. I am now a budding star based in Atlanta and signed with the #1 talent agency in all of the southeast J Pervis Talent agency. I have appeared in international Colgate, Caterpillar inc, Red bubble commercials and most recently a nationwide commercial for Mastercard Inc and more. I created my own production company, “Lets Talk Productions”, where I focus on creating narratives that are geared towards starting larger conversations about change and purpose. My team and I are so excited to show the world what we have been working on and eternally grateful to all the small businesses and companies that have worked with Let’s talk productions so far.
“Let’s Talk Productions” markets to clients who may need a music video, short or feature length film, social content, commercials and more. If you have an idea that needs to be filmed, email us today and Lets Talk about it.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I am the kind of person who is a “natural networker” and sometimes can be shy in certain rooms. While moving to Atlanta in 2018, I truly had to unlearn the idea of only connecting with those who spoke to me first. I applied the saying ” Closed mouths don’t get fed” and witnessed opportunities and connections flow in.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Watching your ideas come into reality is magical! Being an artist/creative is such a beautiful occupation!
