Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kali Conner. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kali, appreciate you joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

Learning my craft simply took research and understanding the marketing aspect of things. I had to make sure what was legit or what was fraud. In industry we as woman have to be very careful because we’re targeted to be manipulated. I wouldn’t change the learning experience to speed the process because having patience leads to be better results. My most essential skill I’ve gain was Selling, Marketing and People skills. My health was my biggest set back, not feeling 100% during shows. I still give all I got with 30%.

Kali, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Well my name is Kali I’m 33 years young. I’m a mother of two, who strive in the Fashion industry. I volunteer in the community as well. I’m involved in the Saint Louis Coalition Education to help better the education system in Saint Louis. My brand is Kali’s Connections which is modeling services. This consist of modeling, for commercial and Runway. Acting, promoting and selling. I’ve received model of the year 2022 been nominated for the past few years. Problems I face are my health where I tend to get sick dealing with lupus. My mission is the model for motivation,.share my story to others whom may go through the same issues as me. Rather you’re dealing with health, everyday life issues you can always strive for greatness, it’s all about mindset.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Support your local businesses
Attend to your local events, these events predominantly has your local artists.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

I’m able to be expressive as well show myself I got what it takes.
